Sweden Sustaintech Venture Day is a cornerstone event highlighting Sweden’s prominence as a global leader in sustainable technology innovation. At this curated event, 30 high-achieving, rapidly growing Swedish companies will present their investment cases to an esteemed panel of international investors and jurors.
Scheduled for October 9th and 10th in Stockholm, the upcoming SSVD will be hosted by the Swedish Energy Agency and Cleantech Scandinavia.
Now it its 7th edition, SSVD will focus on the art of scaleup financing for sustaintech businesses. While significant challenges lie ahead on the journey towards a more sustainable world, these showcased Swedish companies serve as compelling evidence that innovation is on the rise. SSVD and Sweden aim to serve as source of inspiration to lead Europe and spread a global greener vision. Through matchmaking, presentations, and breakouts, expert panels will evaluate which companies have their finger on the pulse of innovation and are ripe for scaling.

Established in 2018 by the Swedish Energy Agency, Sweden Sustaintech Venture Day (SSVD) acts as an exclusive event connecting investors with cleantech companies. Evolving from its start and strengthened by the surge of Swedish sustainable companies, SSVD now functions as a platform to showcase carefully vetted companies that have progressed beyond the seed investment phase—spanning from A round entities to recently listed corporations across various sectors. Through a combined focus on key sector growth opportunities and successful investment strategies, SSVD encourages investors to lean in.
Fast forward to 2024, where prominent Swedish enterprises such as Northvolt and H2Green Steel, having secured substantial venture capital, firmly position Sweden as a Sustaintech Industry Titan.
